Blazer Vintage Marc Jacobs, Dress and Belt Forever21, Flats Aldo, Watch Michael Kors, Bracelets Shoppalu, Homemade, Headband Target, Necklaces Juicy Couture, Bamboo Sky, Flea Market
I found this Marc Jacobs blazer at a vintage shop in Seattle back over Summer. The details of the collar drew me in, I then tried it on and knew it had to be mine! I think it was only around $40, which is a steal for Marc Jacobs. I paired it with an old Forever21 dress and added some simple bracelets and necklaces to top it off.
The hot weather is still going strong, so lets hope it starts to cool off soon. I don’t think I can take it that much longer.
Top UO, Skirt Zara, Heels Miu Miu ( same ones here in chocolate brown), Necklace Forever21, Sunnies Replay, Lipstick Revlon “Really Red”
This shade of red lipstick is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It’s one of Revlon’s matte lipsticks and I just think that it’s the perfect red color. Again, I am wearing my $35 Replay sunnies that I love! I have not taken them off since I got them in the mail last week. Today I wore a blouse from Urban Outfitters that I got last year on sale. I think the poppy print on it is just darling and it has buttons all down the back. I got my skirt from Zara at the beginning of Spring and it’s easily transitioning into Fall because of the neutral suede color. Gotta love neutrals!
Also, thank you for all of your emails that many of you have sent me lately! I love hearing from all of you. I try to answer at least a few a day so if you have not heard back from me you will soon. I am also taking all of your suggestions for future video tutorials and am planning some beauty, makeup and skincare tutorials. So stay posted!

I’m so excited that Miss Julia let me take over her fabulous blog today.
I’m Ashley, and I run the blog The Shine Project.
I’ve felt this pressure lately. Pressure to rise above myself, do something hard, and make a difference. Have you ever felt like that? I realized that the time is now to take a deep breath, and go after my dreams. I believe we should all be the hero to our own life story. But more importantly, I believe we should also be the hero in someone else’s.
Right now I’m in the middle of a huge CHANGE4CHANGE campaign to raise $20,000 for 8 inner city high school students to pay for their first year of college. I know that if we all come together for one great cause, a difference can be made. I’m throwing a big silent auction/fundraiser on October 20th in Arizona (more info on my blog), and also an online raffle! If you have an Etsy shop or business, and would like to contribute, shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
To help me in my daily fight to SHINE, I created these necklaces as a reminder of my purpose. Money from each one goes into The Shine Project Scholarship fund. You can see more optionsHERE.
Today, I’m giving away a $25 credit so you can wear a SHINE necklace on your pretty little neck, and give one to someone in your life who needs a reminder themselves.
