I was never a big fan of mixing gold and silver until I saw these bracelets here. It’s funny how one thing can completely change your mind. I use to switch up my jewelry, bags, glasses, etc. to all be the same metal material, but now I’m throwing that rule out. And I’m embracing the mix of metals.
Thomas got me this Rebecca Minkoff bag for Christmas that I had been obsessing over for some time. It’s not available in this print anymore, but there is a new colorful version out now!

The weather here was surprisingly much warmer than we had anticipated. It has been in the high 60s and low 70s. Since I packed clothes for mostly cool weather, I have been re-wearing and trying to get creative with the items I brought for warmer weather. I layered these two blouses for a warm, breezy evening dinner and paired them with my favorite jeans from the Loft.
Can you tell I cut 6 inches off my hair? Although I didn’t need to cut my hair (it was really healthy and long), I really wanted to. It was the longest it has ever been and somewhat annoying to deal with. I always thought that I wanted super long hair and then when I actually had it, I didn’t know what to do with it. It feels so good to have it a bit shorter!

I hope everyone (who celebrates) had a very merry Christmas! I spent mine with my fiancé’s family here on Little St. Simon’s Island. We had a great day relaxing, eating, and opening gifts. I can’t wait to wear all of my new things. We leave the island on Thursday and head straight to Monterey to celebrate New Years. The internet connection is starting to get better, so hopefully I can post the rest of the week.
P.S. I may or may not have cut 6 inches off my hair!
