I have been wanting a detachable collar for a while, but didn’t want to pay a lot since I wasn’t sure if I would wear it much. I quickly jumped on this one from Forever21 since the price was great…and boy, am I glad I did! I have always been a big fan of collared tops and blouses, so now I can add one to all my dresses, sweaters and shirts that don’t have one! I especially love the look of a T-shirt paired with a collar. It’s a great way to transition a simple tee. I also really love these collars: one, two, three, four, five.

I love the idea of pairing a sweater over a collared dress. It's too hot for that now, but I'll definitely keep it in mind this fall…I have a perfect dress in mind :)
