Closet Essentials

When I’m stuck in a rut with the clothes in my closet (I think everyone goes through this, right?!) I always go back to the basics. Some of my closet essentials are: a classic tan trench, a leather jacket, a striped tee, buttery soft blouse, the perfect jeans, a fun bag and comfy shoes (that are functional and cute). You really can’t go wrong with any of the combos above- I already have some pieces but would definitely like to add a colored leather jacket and those polka dot sneakers! I always find that the classic pieces are the ones I wear the most, so buying a little better quality will make them last after years of being worn.

Gap Trench
Theory Leather Jacket
Saint James for J. Crew Striped Tee
Equipement Blouse
Current/Elliott Jeans
Clare Vivier Leopard Bag
Loeffler Randall Sneakers
Elizabeth and James Booties

Totally agree about the classics! Whenever I’m running late, I always turn to these in my closet. Definitely need to convince myself that it’s “okay” to invest in these though… Love the colorful jacket and mint blouse for spring!

Love the coral leather jacket. Such a fun change from a typical black leather jacket. Really great list of essentials.

I love all of your choices! I always find myself going back to skinny jeans, a navy cardigan, white vneck, black blazer, and combat boots.
