Leather & Stripes

Cardigan with fur collar My grandmothers/ Sweater Zara (similar here)/ Skirt Forever 21 (old, similar here on sale! and love this pleated one too)/ Heels ShoeMint/ Purse Stella McCartney/ Ring Giles & Brother

I’ve been really trying to work on re-incorproating old items back into my wardrobe, like this skirt for example. I really like it, so I didn’t give it away when I cleaned out my closet, yet it sat there for months, almost a year. I find myself saying “I have nothing to wear”, which Thomas replies “Seriously!? You have issues…” I always get annoyed, but it’s true! Everybody always wants what they don’t have, but it’s important to realize what you do have and appreciate it. So, here is mr re-appreciating this beautiful faux leather Forever21 skirt that I forgot about. I paired it with a new to me item- My grandmother’s fur collar cardigan that my mom recently gave to me.

I LOVE this look! I have been waiting to wear my open-toed shoes, it’s too cold!

This might be one of your best looks ever! The cardigan paired with the stripes and brown skirt just work so effortlessly together. What an awesome outfit made up of great budget items and your grandma’s old cardigan.

Beautiful! I am totally the same way when it comes to my closet – it seems I only want to wear new clothes all the time but I think it’s important to look back and find gems just like this skirt! Still very fashionable and you style it very well!

The fur is so cute! I’m never sure if I can pull off a full fur coat, so the collar is just what I need. And, I’m totally with you on the “I have nothing to wear” shtick. I’ve been making myself play the game “Wear something this week you haven’t worn in a month.” It’s tough to do, but totally necessary.
