Perfect Shade of Pink

Perfect Shade of Pink

Zara Coat, Equipment Sweater c/o, Rachel Zoe Skirt via T.J. Maxx (similar here), Rag & Bone Booties, Miu Miu Bag (similar style here), Estée Lauder Lip Lacquer in “Mirrored Mauve”, Estée Lauder Nail Polish in “Rose Gold”

I mentioned in this post how I was looking for the perfect pale pink coat for this Fall. I first found this RED Valentino one, then this Club Monaco one but really fell in love (and couldn’t beat the price) of this Zara one I’m wearing. It goes perfectly with the light pink Miu Miu bag I bought on my honeymoon, one of my favorite things I own. It can be tricky finding the perfect shade of pink- I didn’t want something too girly. I loved the over-sized fit and wool texture of it.

P.S. Today is the last day to vote & win this amazing Givenchy bag from Bluefly! Thanks to all of you who have voted already- I really appreciate your support xx

  1. That coat is to die for – it’s the perfect shade of pink! I love how it stands out against the black which toughens it up a little bit.

  2. Julia, I LOVE this coat! It looks fabulous with black, and I love how your handbag is the same color! Great look to transition into fall! xo

  3. Given how much I love pink and the fact I also have this same coat I am probably biased, but I just adore this look on you Julia! I love the contrast of the black + white stripes with the saccharine sweet coat. Just perfect!

  4. Hi Julia,

I have been following your blog since a few months after you started it. Your blog has inspired me to embrace my feminine style. In college, my roommates used to tease me because my entire closet was so girly. However, your blog has taught me to stay true to my original style and that there is no such thing as being too girly! I always tell my family and friends about you because there is no blogger on earth better than you. I wish you and your family the best and hope to see you continue blogging even when we hit our 60′s! Hahaha.

  5. Hi, I think it’s rude, that you deleted my comment! I just said that you look amazing and asked if you are pregnant, because in the first photo it looks like this :) It would be great!

    1. She deletes any post that is not filled with compliments. She is phoney and rude to the core. I know a large group of people who think she should blog for plus size girls. She clearly does not represent the women in San Francisco and certainly not any Marina girls. It’s unfortunate that she has become someone that the locals laugh about because she is too heavy to wear these clothes and her posts are so plastic.
