Rainbow Flowers

RED Valentino Dress (top and jacket version), Burberry Trench, Alice + Olivia Bag c/o, Valentino Heels

First off, If you’re in SF, I would love for you to join me this evening from 7-9 pm for a girls’ night out at Joie on Fillmore. You can find the detailsĀ here. Hope to see you there!

I saved up a few gift cards to purchase this RED Valentino dress from Shopbop. I’ve been a huge fan of the brand for a long time and can’t believe I finally have one of their beautiful creations. I knew our one year wedding anniversary this past Sunday was the perfect occasion to debut it. I would gladly fill my entire wardrobe with every RED Valentino dress out there! Here are a few other favorites from their collection:

I love everything about this dress and shoes combo! Flowery plus edgy shoes is a fantastic look.

Your About Me says that your blog isn’t about wearing designer items. Isn’t that what this post is? I wish you’d change it, or incorporate some cheaper pieces for those who want to look as “glam” as you without the hefty price tag.

That dress is simply gorgeous! The colors in it are so pretty. And I am so jealous of your trench coat. I have been wanting a Burberry trench coat for forever.

I love the floral dress, so lady-like and chic. Especially love the edgy shoe you added so that the look is not TOO precious. I agree, I love anything Valentino. Great job.

I read your blog daily but have never commented, I felt I had to today. That dress is PERFECT for you. It compliments your figure perfectly! I wish I had gift cards or an extra $800 lying around and I would SO buy that. Too bad all my money is going straight to our wedding coming up!

Sigh, you have gotten SO unrelatable! A $99 dress, $1200 coat, and $1100 shoes?? I find it hard to believe you had to save for an $800 dress when the rest of your outfit consists of pieces of the same price. Like an earlier poster said – change your about me. This blog is NOTHING like it was when you first wrote that section and it’s a shame.

Jennifer August 9, 2013 at 2:35 pm

Typo – that should say $900 dress

Alexa August 9, 2013 at 3:21 pm

Agree with the previous comments. Totally unrelatable!

And the posts with less expensive items are either sponsored or given to you…Try to make us believe you’d actually purchase something at Old Navy, WHO are you kidding?!

Disappointing!! Used to love this blog. =/

Julia you are SO adorable in this look! I have a couple of RED Valentino dresses now; I think they’re so classic and girly and perfect all at once. This very same dress has been on my wishlist for a couple of months now, so thank you for convincing me that I Definitely. Need. This. Dress!

Loving this look Julia! So gorgeous for your special night with your hubby. By the way, you are looking SO good! I would love to read another post about your workout routine and eating habits. And maybe a post about your brows, too :)

So beautiful and really takes the outfit up a notch.
