Lady in Pink

Alice + Olivia Top & Skirt c/o, Zara Pumps, Fendi Bag, BaubleBar Necklace (similar here), Revlon Just Bitten in “Smitten”

I wore this Alice + Olivia outfit to their preview on Monday. I love the combination of leather and lace and even more so with the mulberry color of this pleated leather skirt. I can’t wait to wear it into fall with stockings and heeled boots.

This is so gorgeous! I love the colors and the pattern play and the length of the skirt evens out the otherwise lady like and covered up outfit and all in all it’s just such a fun, chic ensemble, complimented by the accessories and the perfect makeup.

While the skirt looks great as this outfit, how do you plan on pairing a colored leather skirt for more consistent wear?

While I adore your skirt, I think my favorite part of this look is the shoes! They’re such a pretty shade of gray and the perfect alternative to black :) I found them on Zara’s website:

Hey Julia,
I saw your blog on Pinterest and have fallen in LOVE with the mid-length of your hair! I’m actually getting it cut tomorrow! The only thing I’m nervous about is not being able to curl it without it turning too …poofy? I guess that’s the term I’m searching for. Your’s doesn’t look poofy at all, instead it looks wavy and polished. I know this isn’t a hair blog but how long do you get your hair to keep that curl without being overly dramatic?

Much love,
