Buenos días from Cabo!

This is my first time to Cabo and I’m blown away by its beauty. Spectacular. I can already tell it’s going to be hard to leave in a couple days. We spent our whole first day out at sea soaking up some sun followed by a long relaxing dinner. Just how vacation should be. This little Tory Burch embroidered dress is my favorite- easy to throw on over a swim suit/easy to dress up at night. Plus anything with the combination of chambray, white and camel is a win in my book.

  1. I think it’s offensive to your readers to claim this is a relaxing vacation while simultanesoulsy tagging #rsworktrip all over Instagram. Which is it? A vacation earned via affiliate links or a work trip you’ll surely claim come taxes?

    1. I agree. Tax implications aside, this “work trip” hashtag plastered all over instagram and towels and cups is in extremely poor taste. Mocking the normal people with normal jobs who click on the affiliate links that send you on these luxurious vacations is not a good look. Glad you’re getting some time to finally relax, though.

    2. I disagree. I do not know Julia, the author of this blog, but I read it because she has good taste, a sense of style and she seems like a happy, positive person. To take offense to her posts about a trip to Cabo seems extreme and petty. From what I can tell, bloggers are constantly working, even on vacation. I also do not see Julia as mocking people with normal jobs? She often has some style ideas at many different price points. Finally, no one makes you read this blog so if it offends your sensibilities, stop reading.

      1. Jess I read the blog because I do enjoy it. My point was she is on a trip to cabo because she is top Reward Style earner. That means the trip was essentially paid for by her readers like you & me who click on her links. I think it is tacky to be on Instagram using the #rsworktrip while then coming on here and saying it is a vacation. Just call it was it is – a free trip earned via affiliate links. No one said anything about her not being happy or positive. I’m so sick of people saying if you don’t like it don’t read it. Julia puts this out there for the world to see. I think there is nothing wrong with hearing from her loyal supportive readers when something irks us. Constructive criticism is never a bad thing IMO.

  2. This look is gorgeous. I really like the dress. I’ll have to see if I can find it or something similar in my homecity.
