As I mentioned in my last post from Prague here, it was one of my favorite stops in Europe. On our second day in the city, we took the scenic walk along Old Castle Stairs to get to Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral. From there, we had sprawling views of Prague and the seemingly endless red rooftops. The best part however, was arriving to the very top near the entrance to the Cathedral, where rows of perfectly manicured gardens lined the sides of the hill. I was stopping about every other minute to take pictures of the view because it was so incredibly beautiful. Thomas and I spent the rest of the day wandering through the streets, getting lost in little alleys and then somehow stumbling upon Vrtba Garden, which can’t be missed. You can plan as much as possible when you travel, but sometimes the best experiences are the ones you’re not expecting.
