Ciao from our current location, Siena! We’ve been soaking up every minute in Tuscany and absolutely loving it. We started the trip with our first night in Chianti (we stayed at Hotel Radda in Chianti for those of you asking) and headed to the medieval town, Montepulciano the following morning. Since it’s winter and slow season in Tuscany, about half of the shops and restaurants were closed, but the minimal crowds and tourists made up for it. After spending a few hours walking through the town seeing the Montepulciano Castle, Church of Sant’ Agostino, browing the open market in the Piazza Grande and taking a million pictures of the gorgeous sprawling views, we headed back in the car and drove the short 15 minutes to Pienza. If you were to imagine what a charming Tuscan village would look like, Piezna would be exactly it. The intimate alleyways, friendly shops and quaint stone homes only added onto the beauty of this magical place. We of course had to get some of the famous Pecorino cheese before we left, which we ate with some of the best gnocchi we’ve ever had.

I pulled out my old converse and most comfortable faux leather leggings since I knew it would be a long day on our feet and dressed them up with this heart printed trench from Urban Outfitters. It gives Burberry’s 2013 version a run for their money, but a fraction of the price at under $130. I normally like to stick to solids for outwear, but the black and cognac color combination make for a more versatile piece. Now lets see how many ways I can style this…
