Self Portrait Azaelea Dress
Outfit Details:
Club Monaco Leather Jacket (old, similar here), Self Portrait Azaelea Dress (more sizes available here, also love this one and this one), Lanvin Bag c/o, Chanel Oxfords (similar here), Celine Sunglasses
I’ve had a love affair with Self Portrait dresses for a while now ever since discovering the London based brand last year. I first bought this dress which led to a growing list of “wants”. This past summer, I couldn’t seem to get my hands on this Self Portrait Azaelea Dress in white after it sold out everywhere online, only sparking my desires to want it even more! When I saw it released in black this season, I jumped on it almost immediately while I still could!
Naturally, I couldn’t wait for a special event or occasion to wear this dress, so I slipped it on the other day and threw my leather jacket over the top to make it more appropriate for the weather/work. I was initially hesitant about wearing it out (was it too much during the day?) but it was hit! I had countless people stop me and ask where it was from. I always believe in dressing for your mood and sometimes pieces like this will really brighten your day!
To make it more casual, I added my oxfords that I’ve been pairing with a lot of dresses lately (last seen here, here, here and here). I’ve found a few other pairs of similar oxfords online at a lower price point here and here and two other splurge pairs here and here.
Whether you’re on the hunt for a holiday look or just searching for a pretty dress, you’re bound to find a favorite amongst the collection. A few other pieces I’m loving from Self Portrait include this amazing red dress, this jumpsuit, this off the shoulder top and this white dress. A few of their Resort pieces just launched for pre-order here and I have my eye on this dress and this dress. Too many beautiful pieces to just pick one! Also, check here if you’re wanting an even bigger selection.
Love the mix of masculine and feminine pieces!

Love the dress … I don’t think the shoes were the right choice though. I know you were trying to make it more casual, but I think the oxfords are a bit … heavy? I do like the leather jacket though.
This dress is just lovely!
Love this dress and I love that you styled it for day with the leather jacket so chic!

I love how the dress is knee-length, but the slip under is mini – keeps things sexy, yet classy. I LOVE it in black, and the neckline to it is gorgeous and it is a great holiday dress. I totally agree on dressing on your mood – makes it all more fun! :) I will def check this brand out – would be gorgeous in a oxblood colour, as well! Have a great weekend! xx SS

The dress is beautiful. I love the bag and jacket that you paired it with. However, I think it’d look much better with high heels even though Oxfords are comfier!

It really is a gorgeose dress and look stunning on you. I could see how this would also be lovely in white for a Summer soirée. But the color you have would be great for a Christmas party with a bit of delicate bling. Nice choice!
I love the photos, it’s like I’m looking in a high-fashion magazine
