I was recently asked what looks I would buy for spring and without a doubt it would be simple pieces- maybe a striped button down to wear with skirts or to tie over a dress, a pair of white cropped jeans, a lace dress or great pair of flats. My style philosophy has always been that less is more but it doesn’t have to mean that it’s boring. I always try and add a little character whether that’s through a bow in my hair, a statement piece of jewelry, lipstick or a killer pair of shoes. One pair that’s both classic and timeless but adds a feminine touch are these M.Gemi light pink Pastoso loafers.

Taking my own words of advice, I recently bought this striped pull-over. I think a basic button-down is often overlooked but such a great staple piece in any wardrobe. I love this one because it’s great to tuck into skirts and will lay flat under a cashmere or cable knit sweater. I also added this scarf to a simple low bun by folding it into one long piece, wrapping it around the bun and tying it into a bow.

With traveling so often, I’m always looking for flats or sneakers that are both cute and functional. I got these M.Gemi turquoise ones last summer and loved them- they’re the softest leather and were perfect for spending a long day walking around and exploring. I obviously couldn’t resist this similar pair this season in “tea rose”, the prettiest light shade of pink. I know I’ll be re-wearing them with summer dresses and shorts (especially with this gingham pair). Since new styles are released every Monday, each one is limited in quantity, so hurry before these are gone! You can also check out more of their women’s flats made in Italy (I love this pair and this pair) while they’re still in stock.

Thank you to M.Gemi for sponsoring this post.
