Draper James Dress, Unisa Adivan OTK Boots (under $70), Cuyana Belt, Clare V Clutch
The boots I live in this time of year are my over the knee ones. I love the way they look with dresses and skirts, which is how I’ve been styling them a lot lately. When the temperatures dip, I’ll add a pair of tights for an extra layer of warmth, but until then, I wear them bare legged. I have a few shades and styles along with different heel heights and textures. My newest color favorite being navy, which I actually wear more often than black.
A lot of the over the knee boots out there can have a hefty price tag, but I’ve found a pair that meets all the requirements for a chic and effortless look under $70. When I was searching for a less expensive pair, I found that many of them stray away from the classic look and focus too heavily on trends or add random elements that the boots just don’t need. I found this simple suede navy blue pair at DSW. Slip them over jeans or wear them with a dress, like I did here.
If you’re looking for a boot that has a bit of added height, these also come in this heeled version. Both styles are also available in a range of colors from charcoal to burgundy to taupe and black. Pretty much all of the base colors of fall! I found a few other classic over the knee boots, also from DSW, that I love including these Marc Fisher ones in cognac, these Aldo ones in tan and these Charles by Charles David in grey.
