Last week we flew up to Washington DC to try and see some of the cherry blossoms, but sadly many of them had died from the cold that had come through/hadn’t bloomed yet. Luckily, DC is an amazing city with lots to offer, especially in food and activities, so we decided to eat our way through it on our two days there (more on that soon!). One stop I definitely knew I wanted to make was to the flagship Tuckernuck Store in Georgetown. They’ve been one of my favorite online shops for years and I’d heard wonderful things about their brick and mortar store, which is perfectly decorated in all blue and white! That’s where I found this darling Carolina K dress that I immediately pulled out this past weekend for a night out at FIG.
The weather in Charleston has been heavenly lately. Usually we start traveling a lot more around this time of year, but it’s so beautiful at home that we don’t want to leave! We met up with my girlfriend Rosie and her fiancé in DC and they came and stayed with us all last week and it was fun playing tour guide in our new-ish city (can’t believe it’s already been almost 6 months since our move!). Every day I still pinch myself and feel so lucky to live here! With a sunny 75 filled week, I pulled out all of my new Spring goods like these pink pompom Loeffler Randall sandals and this J.McLaughlin clutch. You can see a few more of my outfits from last week in my Daily Looks on GMG Now here, here and here.
