Pink has always been my favorite color and I remember when I first saw J.Crew launch some incredible pink pieces a few seasons back during a presentation at NYFW. Then last fall, they launched an entire collection around the hue. The only big question was, how much pink is too much pink? And my answer? There is never enough pink! But I’m probably a little biased as my house, couch and half of my wardrobe is filled with the color and it’s not going away any time soon.

It is possible to pair pink and with pink and my biggest tip is to pair a slightly lighter shade of the color with a darker or more vibrant one. This little pink off the shoulder top is my favorite piece from J.Crew this season. It’s a silk fabric and has the prettiest sheen to it in person, plus the mini bow details on the sleeves are the perfect touch. While normally I would have worn it with a pair of white jeans, I really love the look of it with these pink bow shorts I just got from J.Crew, too. They’re high waisted, so flattering and come in a variety of colors like white, chambray or floral.

And if you want to incorporate the color into your wardrobe without too much commitment, adding something small like this pink rattan clutch is an easy way. You’ll be able to make it the pop of color to any neutral outfit or contrasting to a completely different shade.
