A few weeks back we were down in Savannah shooting our May dresses for GMG Collection and we got a little sliver of what felt like summer. The air was warm when we woke up, getting slightly hotter throughout the day. It felt so nice, especially coming from Atlanta where it was basically still the dead of winter. Savannah was flourishing with spring flowers. There was an abundance of azaleas that were overgrowing around every park. It’s an incredible spot to be this time of year. I can’t help but want to pull out only dresses and skirts when the weather gets so nice like this, and luckily, that’s pretty much all I packed for the trip.

I love a midi skirt that can be worn a variety of ways- from day to work to evening and beyond. I recently got this Place National tiered eyelet skirt for this spring season and love how easy it is to mix up with different tops and accessories. Aside from wearing it with this white button down, I’ve also styled it with a simple white tee. It would also look cute with more of a statement cropped top like this one, this one or this one. And for those of you looking for a less expensive alternative, I found this similar white eyelet midi skirt that’s under $130 here.
