We got back from Mexico on Saturday night and flew straight to NYC in prep for our launch on Friday!!! We had the best time in Mérida, Mexico shooting our June collection and adding in a little bit of downtime, too (margaritas and massages on our last day!). I got so many questions on IG asking about Mérida and all of the places we stayed. I’m definitely planning on sharing all of the details from our trip soon- where we stayed, ate and things to do, but today’s post is highlighting some of my vacation wear pieces that transition perfectly from morning to night.

One of the places that we rented while we were in Mérida was Villa los Arcos de San Juan that’s perfectly situated in the center of town. With rooftops views and a gorgeous, relaxing courtyard, it made an ideal spot for both exploring the city and having a quiet, intimate experience. In the early morning Thomas would walk down to a local coffee shop and bakery, pick up some breakfast and bring it back to enjoy on the rooftop before the sun got too warm. We had a taste of summer weather while we were there, with temps going up to 104, but I came prepared with my bag packed of GMG dresses (which I can’t show just yet!) and some airy spring pieces.

When it comes to vacation dressing, I love pieces that I can wear during the day into the night. This blue and white skirt/top combo works perfectly for both. I slipped it on in the morning and by evening, refreshed it up with some heels for dinner out on the town. I love Rebecca Taylor’s pieces. Year after year, she’s always one of my go-to brands. I love this little floral off the shoulder top that also comes in this midi dress version and this mini dress version. I paired it with this Veronica Beard skirt that comes in a bolder blue and white floral print. I’m all for mixing different floral patterns, especially when the colors play off each other so perfectly. If you’re heading somewhere warm soon (or just have wonderful weather where you live), here are a few more blue and white pieces that’ll easily go from day to night- this embroidered off the shoulder top, this light blue fit and flare dress, this ruffled midi skirt, this striped midi dress, this floral jumpsuit and this chambray midi skirt.
