Burberry Trench, Emerson Fry Sweater c/o, Helmut Lang Pants, Bionda Castana Booties, Fendi Bag, Bloomingdales Gloves (similar here)
Back to the snow- this was the first outfit I wore for NYFW. I kept my look super classic with all of my most timeless pieces that get a ton of wear because of their versatility. A great trench coat was one of the best purchases I ever made. I wore a similar Zara version until it fell apart, which honestly didn’t take that long. There are a lot of great options available right now, but investing in one that will last a decent amount of time is definitely worth it.
P.S. Today is the last day to save up to 30% off during Shopbop’s Big Sale Event! You can check out some of my favorite items from the sale here.
A few other classic trench coats I love in a variety of price points…

With only a few weeks left until the first day of spring, I’ve been moving all of my florals and bright colors up to the front of my closet. It can be sort of an awkward time for dressing, since it’s still winter but them temperatures are slowing warming up. I’ve been living in a variation of this combo- perfect skinny jeans, slouchy tee and some sort of fun outerwear. I can’t say enough amazing things about these AG jeans. I was on a mission to find a a great not-too-dark, not-too-light colored skinny jean and tried on at least 10 other pairs at Nordstrom. When I put these on, I knew they were the one. Jeans are always like that, aren’ they? ;)
If you’re also looking for a perfect pair of jeans, here are a few others that were close contenders…
This post was sponsored by Nordstrom, but all opinions are my own.
Red Valentino Coat, Brandy Melville Sweater (similar here), Paige Denim Jeans, J.Crew Booties, Zara Scarf, Celine Bag, Preston & Olivia Hat c/o, Bobbi Brown Lipgloss in “Petal”
It’s currently 70 degrees in San Francisco, but I still have a few more outfit posts from NYC, so I’m going to be going back and forth from snow to sun :) This is hands down my favorite item I own. If you ask me what my favorite designer/brand is, my answer is always Red Valentino/Valentino. There are always a few pieces each season that I see and feel like was just made for me! I had my eye on this jacket for months and finally bit the bullet right before my New York trip.
