ASOS Floral Maxi Dress

ASOS Dress, Chloe Flats, ”Julia” necklace (old, simliar here), Sarah Chloe Bangle, Anthropologie “Love” Cuff (old, similar here), Samantha Wills BangleAll The Wire Ring, Celine Bag, Bobbi Brown Lipgloss in “Petal”

This past weekend we drove down to LA for a few days to visit friends and fit in a few meetings. It’s not that often that we get to head down South, so we really made the most out of our trip. I knew it was going to be extra hot, so I brought a few light dresses and shorts, which ended up being perfect as the temperatures dropped slightly through the weekend. I’ve been wearing a lot of maxi skirts and dresses lately as my knee heels up and to cover my bandages until I can take them off. ASOS always has the best selection of affordable spring dresses and I love the romantic feel of this one. The front slit makes it move in really beautiful ways as you walk and the lower neckline makes it feel more youthful.

You can shop my look and other floral maxi dresses that I love here…

Calypso St. Barth Sweater c/o, Sundry Tee (old, similar here), Joie Pants (old, similar here and shorts version in navy)

There is no denying my love for Calypso (plus I love a good excuse to get over to Marin Country Mart) and especially their cashmere sweaters. I have the longer cream version of this turquoise one that I wear over everything and always have with me. They’re two of the softest, comfiest pieces of clothing that I own and I want one in every color! They’re perfect for lounging at home or even over a nice dress for an evening dinner- either way, they’re a must have.

Calypso is also holding a clothing drive until Tuesday, May 20th in their stores across the country. The clothes will be going to Clothes4Souls, a charity that provides gently used clothes to those in need. With the clothing donation, you’ll receive 20% off your Calypso purchase (of full priced styles) and leave with happy heart knowing that you did some good! I’m long overdue for a closet clean out and will definitely be taking them over to my local Calypso store.

Veda Top (borrowed from Intermix), Stella McCartney Pants (similar less expensive version here and here), Freda Salvador Sandals c/o, Celine Bag, Necklaces: Courtney x Gorjana “Horn” Necklace, “Julia” necklace (old, simliar here), Sarah Chloe Bangle, Anthropologie “Love” Cuff (old, similar here), C. Wonder BangleAll The Wire Ring

I’ve been living in these Stella McCartney floral pants (styled differently here and here) ever since picking them up from Intermix last month. They’re so flattering and easy to pair with anything. I usually skip over pants when shopping and only focus on dresses and skirts, but when I realized I need a pair or two beside my usual jeans and nice trousers, I started to pay more attention to them. With yesterday’s pair and now these, I think I’m good to go!

Here are a few other printed pants I love…
