Marble Print Maxi Dress

ASOS Dress (on sale), Club Monaco Jacket, Vince Mules, Joie Bag c/o, Ray Ban Aviators

I have a few trips coming up and love having easy pieces like this maxi dress to just throw on and go. While it’s ideal for warm weather (wearing over a bikini or dressing up for dinner), it pairs perfectly with my leather jacket for the cooler temperatures we have in the city. The marble print on the dress almost looks like a galaxy space print and I love the way it floats and moves in the wind as I walk. Here are a few other maxi dresses I’m loving…

kate spade new york top, Joie Pants c/o, Gap Loafers (sold out online, similar here), 3.1 Phillip Lim Bag

Cheerful. That’s how this top makes me feel. I don’t know if it’s the playful lemon print or the fact that the color yellow just makes me happy, but once I put it on, I was in a good mood. I know it sounds silly, but sometimes that sort of thing just happens. You know when you put on an outfit and you think to yourself “I look good, this is going to be a great day” and because your mindset is positive, you have the best day ever! Well here’s to positivity and bright, cheerful prints. P.S. These Gap loafers are sold out online, but if you can find them in a store near you…buy them! You won’t regret it.

Here are a few other kate spade new york items I’m loving (especially this lemon print in the peplum top version)…

Return of the Skirt

Outfit 1: Rebecca Taylor Sweater & Skirt (Provided by Bloomingdale’s), DVF Wedges, Coach Bag

Outfit 2: Twenty Tank & Milly Skirt (Provided by Bloomingdale’s), Vince Mules, Rebecca Minkoff Bag

I’ve always been a skirt and dresses girl over any sort of pants. So it’s so nice to see the “return of the skirt” this season with a fresh take on the ladylike look. I’m not partial to any particular shape- full, mini, tea length, pencil- you name it, I love it. I’ve teamed up with Bloomingdale’s to showcase two of my favorite styles, which happen to be very different, but still equally chic and on trend for spring.

I’m a sucker for an all white ensemble- it’s always classic and timeless. This open knit mesh cropped sweater adds a nice contract to the structured full skirt, which happens to be one of the most flattering shapes of all skirts.

This second look is a bit edgier and eye catching than the first. Since the print on the pencil skirt is so bold, I kept the rest of the look neutral in all black. The great thing about pencil skirts are that they are both sexy and professional depending on what you decide to pair them with.

Head on over to Bloomingdales.com to shop more great spring trends!

A big thank you to Bloomingdale’s for sponsoring this post.
