Vintage Love

On Julia: kate spade new york dress, heels and clutch c/o, bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie in “Live It Up”, Astley Clarke Necklace
On Thomas: Jack Spade shirt, pants and bag c/o Converse Sneakers, Warby Parker Sunglasses

After sharing our first “his & hers” style post a month or so back and getting so much great feedback, Thomas and I figured we should incorporate it into the blog more often. It’s so much fun when we get to play around behind the lens together- laughing, being silly and bouncing off one another. I couldn’t think of a better way to kick it off than teaming up with one of my favorite brands, kate spade new york, and one of Thomas’s favorite brands, Jack Spade (and also during our anniversary month!) I was immediately inspired when putting together the looks to create a vintage 60s, mod-inspired vibe. This brightly colored structured kate spade new york dress and embellished heels tied in perfectly with Thomas’s navy dotted Jack Spade shirt and grey trousers. We had the absolute pleasure of working with the talented Jenna Alcala who helped bring our idea to life and really take it to the next level with her team of creatives. The Booth Bus worked as the perfect backdrop to capture the era and feel of what we were looking for and definitely made for a good time :) We’ll be sharing the second look on Monday- We hope you guys enjoy!

A huge thank you to this awesome group of people:

Sunrise View

VAVA by Joy Han Top, BCBG Shorts (old, similar here), Marni Sandals, Ray Ban Aviators, Chloe Bag

On one of our mornings in Moab, Thomas and I woke up extra early and headed out to Fisher Towers to watch the sunrise. It’s always worth it to see the pastel colors fill the sky as the sun rises in the morning- especially over the red rock in Utah. I’m already missing the heat, my tan and the ability to wear short shorts! I’ve always loved anything off the shoulder and this loose, romantic top from Revolve is no exception. I can’t wait until our next trip to a warmer destination to bring it out again.

Florals For Fall

Eight Sixty Sweatshirt (love this one as well), Tinley Road Skirt, Sam Edelman Booties, Clare Vivier Clutch c/o Piperlime

I think it goes without saying that I’m definitely what you would call a “girly girl”, never turning down something ultra feminine, floral or pink. I also like to find a balance between these pieces to make sure they’re styled in a way that’s mature, modern and polished. I pulled this fall-ready look together with a few of my favorite pieces from Piperlime, who by the way, just launched their new site today! I’m not one to leave florals and bright colors to only the warmer months, but instead embrace them year round. Usually in the summer months, I’ll pair my florals prints with something light and airy, and to transition into fall, I opt for leather or distressed denim. This faux leather quilted skirt (under $100) will become one of your favorite fall staples, I promise you. Two other favorite pieces I love so much that I have in multiple colors are these Sam Edelman booties and a Clare Vivier clutch. Piperlime has tons of new fall arrivals in now including their new private label, Piperlime Collection (I’m drooling over this leopard coat) along with a few other noteworthy items like these leopard heels, this black and white striped dress and this floral sweatshirt. You can shop all of my top picks from Piperlime and check out my Q&A here.

A big thank you to Piperlime for sponsoring this post.
