Bow Tie

Sandro Top (old), Gap Jeans (old, similar here), kate spade new york bag c/o, SJP Heels, Bobbi Brown Lipgloss in “Petal”

I’ve had a thing for bows for as long as I can remember. While my love for them hasn’t subdued overtime, the way I wear them has. Instead of creating an over-the-top girly outfit, I try to pair them with something that’s the complete opposite to draw away from creating an outfit that’s too sweet. These SJP pumps make me feel like I have bow ties around my ankles and are my new favorite pairing with my boyfriend jeans. The other bow accessory in this look (the buckle on this kate spade new york bag) is subtle enough to not draw too much attention, but adds the kind of feminine detail that I love.

Pink & Red

Candela Top & Skirt c/o, Saint Laurent Clutch, Louboutin Pumps

Happy April 1st! Pink and red has always been a favorite color combination of mine and I love it even more on feminine lace. These Candela pieces are perfect for wedding season, which is right around the corner. I’m planning on wearing the lace top with jeans and the skirt with a simple tee to switch them up on their own.

Here are a few other lace pieces that I love…

Leather & Lace

Rebecca Taylor Top, Lovers + Friends Pants (on sale), Gap Clutch, Louboutin Pumps

I’m always looking for alternative ways to dress up for events or parties that are different from my typical dress choice. These faux leather pants are fun because they’re not as edgy as a pair of classic black leather pants are, but they’re still so different from any other pair of white pants I have. Up close you can see that they’re actually a perforated fabric that looks really cool and the track style makes for an easy dressed up/laid back look.
