Neutral Territory

Free People Coat, Ella Moss Top, Free People Faux Leather Pants, Vince Loafers, Givenchy Bag c/o Luisaviaroma, All The Wire Ring

When it doubt about what to wear, always lean back on your neutrals. A classic combination of black and camel will be forever chic and timeless. Since we pretty much wear coats and jackets year round in SF, I picked up this Free People one knowing how much use I’d get out of it. It’s more like a heavy sweater than coat and is so cozy that I keep reaching for it when I get cold in our apartment. I am also obsessed with my new Givenchy bag thanks to Luisaviaroma- it’s the perfect shape, color, style, everything for fall! I’ve always loved the Givenchy Antigona bag and this three-toned version is extra special. You can shop more of my favorite black and camel pieces here…

Embroidered Topshop Dress

Topshop Dress (on sale, top version here), Hat, Booties (on sale) & Belt c/o

I’m bummed we’re missing Outside Lands this year, but still excited about this weekend because we’re in beautiful Moab, Utah (you can follow along on my insta @juliahengel) with our family. If I was in town, I’d definitely wear this exact outfit to the shows- big hat, comfy booties, boho dress…check, check, and check. I could easily live in loose, breezy dresses like this Topshop one, especially with its sequin and embroidered details. This one is almost sold out, but I also really love the top version, this embroidered mini and this other aztec print dress (also on sale). Happy Friday!

A big thank you to Topshop for sponsoring this post.

Summer Whites

d.Ra Top & Skirt, TopShop Sweater, Isabel Marant Booties, Henri Bendel Bag c/o, Rag Ban Sunglasses, Bobbi Brown Lipgloss in “Petal”

It was extra hot in Madison last weekend, but luckily I came prepared with some super lightweight pieces like this d.Ra top & skirt combo. I was also sporting a new bag- this Henri Bendel cross body beauty from their new Mercer Collection. I picked this particular one because 1) I love cross body bags and 2) It’s technically a camera bag and fits all of my stuff plus my white Samsung (see more about it here) that I carry with me everywhere. The style is really simple and chic, which I love, and the blue haircalf is a fun touch. Since my top and skirt are so sweet, I love the darker tones of my bag and booties to toughen it up a little.

Giveaway Now Closed!

Henri Bendel is giving away the Mercer Haircalf Camera Crossbody Bag to three lucky Gal Meets Glam readers! To enter, leave a comment letting me know how you’d style the bag. The giveaway will end on Thursday, August 14th and the three winners will be selected at random. Good luck!

A big thank you to Henri Bendel for sponsoring this post.
