Color Wall

Current Elliott Tee, One Teaspoon Shorts, Alexander McQueen Scarf, Madewell Sandals, Dior Sunglasses, Preston & Olivia Hat c/o, Chanel Bag, Gorjana Ring To Wrist BraceletShashi Bracelets, Dior Earrings (similar here)

I could live in this grey tee and these ripped up denim shorts. They’re the first thing I reach for when we’re having a laid back day and I want a relaxed and easy look. No matter where we’re traveling to, I always include some version of this combo as back-up and it usually comes in handy. We’re back in SF from San Diego, but I’m currently packing simultaneously as I write this post and taking a flight out to NYC tonight. I love New York and I’m so excited to be heading back for fashion week + a little extended time in the city with Thomas.

San Diego Weekend

Gap Shirt, Pim + Larkin Skirt (on sale), Marni Sandals, Givenchy Bag c/o Luisaviaroma, Thierry Lasry Sunglasses, Gorjana Ring To Wrist Bracelet, Shashi Bracelets, Dior Earrings (similar here)

Thomas and I spent the holiday weekend in San Diego visiting my best friends and soaking up the last bit of summer. We went bike riding, to the beach, had an amazing dinner at Herringbone, an all day pool bbq, a little shopping, multiple acai bowls and a yummy brunch at Cody’s in La Jolla. It was the perfect weekend. I was in sandals and jean shorts pretty much everyday, but slipped on this cute little mini from Piperlime with my go-to white button down for Labor Day brunch.

Summer To Fall

Topshop Sweater, Rebecca Minkoff Skirt (more sizes available here), Givenchy Bag c/o Luisaviaroma, Louboutin Pumps, Gorjana Ring To Wrist Bracelet, Dior Earrings (similar pair here)

This skirt might be one of the brightest pieces I have in my closet and I love it for that reason. To tone it down for fall (I can’t believe September 1st is next week!) I paired it with my favorite neutral color, camel. A cozy knit in a warm tone automatically makes this summer skirt feel autumnal and season appropriate. Since it’s still pretty warm in most locations, a few ways I styled it this past summer were with a graphic tee and a crop top. This is one item I definitely won’t be packing away for fall.

P.S. My talented sister, Lauren Taylor Creates, just launched her new website & is giving away a custom illustration from her new “Glamorous Life” series! To enter, all you have to do is sign up for her newsletter with your email on the homepage of her site. The winner will be selected next Wednesday, September 10th!
