Thomas and I are off to the beach for a low-key Memorial Day and are bringing all of the necessary ingredients for a relaxing day off: a picnic, blankets and a bottle of wine. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and takes a moment to remember the fallen men and women of our country.

I wore this outfit to Off The Grid (mentioned in this post) with some girlfriends a few weeks back. It’s an easy combination that never fails. I love that this blazer is a subtle neon shade of creamsicle and the fact that it’s tweed makes me like it even more. I’ve also been messing around with different hair styles since I’ve been keeping it pretty basic with either straight or curly. I used to always change up my long hair, so here is to new short hair style ideas!
Thomas and I don’t have any significant plans for the three day weekend, but it will involve a little bit of golf, heading to the beach, some delicious meals and lots of relaxing. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday! xx

Since I’m much more of a dresses and skirts kind of girl, it usually takes something unique to get me excited about a top/pant combo. I thought this blouse was darling with its little pom poms and high low hemline. Since it’s cropped in the front, I paired it with high waisted skinny jeans to make up for the difference.
