Santa Barbara

ASOS Jacket, Pickwick & Weller Tee c/o, One Teaspoon Shorts, Linea Pelle Belt, Chanel Espadrilles (similar here), Free People Hat (old, similar here), Saint Laurent Bag, Miansai Bracelet c/o

This past weekend we were in Santa Barbara for the holiday weekend and I loved every minute of it! Oddly enough, it was my first time to SB and we tried to fit in as much as possible. One of our first stops was to the courthouse, a beautiful Spanish style building downtown with exquisite views of the city. Everything from the constant warm weather, the endless amounts of beautiful tiles and mission inspired architecture, long stretches of beach and delicious food, it sure is one beautiful city. There is so much to see and do and eat and shop, that a trip back is already in order. Plus a long leisurely drive along highway 1 is worth it just for the views!

P.S. Don’t forget to enter the $500 credit to HauteLook giveaway from yesterday’s post!

Tibi Top (love this color as well) , Tibi Skirt, J.Crew Earrings, Manolo Blahnik Pumps, Saint Laurent Clutch

I could happily fill my closet with everything Tibi. Their pieces are timeless, classic and a great mix of modern feminine/relaxed tomboy. I normally wouldn’t wear a crop top to a wedding, but this two piece was so lady like and only showed a slight sliver of skin (most people thought I had a dress on!) Tibi has so many matching crop tops and full length skirts in a variety of textures and patterns, like this light pink one, this cobalt version of mine, this embroidered eyelet option or this raffia patchwork one on sale. You can see my previous favorite Tibi looks here, here, here and here.

Gingham Shorts

Club Monaco Shirt (old, similar here and here), Storets Shorts, Tods Loafers, Celine Bag, Ray Ban Sunglasses, Jane Pope Rings, Katie Dean Ring, Bobbi Brown Lipgloss in “petal”

A few weekends ago we spent the afternoon in Healdsburg and finally went to BarnDiva for brunch (a delicious and charming little spot that we’ve been wanting to try for months!) It was in the high 90s and we were loving every minute of it. Although I had initially tucked in my top, it seemed summer appropriate to pull it out, tie it up and show just a sliver of skin. Keeping things light and simple for hot weather is always best.
