Oh sale season, how I love you so. I’d been lusting after this gorgeous tan colored leather Sandro jacket since it came out early spring, but crossed my fingers and hoped it would go on sale within a few months. Sometimes the wait is totally worth it, especially when you get it more than half off. I wore this look out for dinner and drinks with the girls a few weeks back, but this combination is usually my go-to for girls night. I added my favorite turquoise statement earrings to contrast with pop of yellow in my striped Tibi tank and of course a little bit of leopard.
And speaking of sales, Shopbop just added a ton of new items to their summer sale- now up to 70% off!
I was immediatley drawn to this Milly dress when I saw it online because of the rainbow mix of colors, but loved it even more when I realized it was a herringbone pattern. It’s simple little dresses like this that make me love dressing for summer- they’re easy and effortless. I usually pair a neutral shoe with something so colorful, but I recently picked up these Manolo Blahnik pumps after posting them here and I love how they compliment the colors in the dress without taking away from it.

I love the Fourth of July because it’s just an extra excuse to wear my favorite combo of red, white and blue. We’re heading down to Santa Barbara this Thursday for the holiday weekend and my suitcase is already packed with striped everything. I recently picked up a few goodies from Tuckernuck that ended up being the perfect patriotic pieces to wear for the fourth, but are mellow enough to be worn any day of the week. You can never go wrong with a classic St. James striped tee, red lipstick and cuff-off shorts.
