R29 My Stylist

I’m excited to announce a project that I’ve been working on with a few other bloggers for the past month or so for Refinery29 and TJ Maxx.  The overall idea is that it’s a revolutionary new community forum for the fashion-obsessed to get direct access to the best fashion bloggers (including myself!) in the country. Sounds pretty awesome, right!? Be sure to check Refinery29.com on April 22, when the site launches to get full access! I’m so excited to finally share everything we have been working on. To get started now, you can use hashtag #R29MyStylist to start tweeting your questions to me that I’ll be answering once the site launches. You can also check out the same hashtag (#R29MyStylist) on instagram to see some behind the scenes photos!

Camo Print

Old Navy Jacket (on sale)/ Zara Shirt/ Zara Jeans (inspired by these and these)/ Stella McCartney Purse/ Zara Heels/ Page Sargisson Ring

I’ve always considered myself a dresses and skirts kind of girl, that is…until I moved to San Francisco. While I would love to wear either of them daily, it’s just not practical unless I want to be freezing and uncomfortable (and I’m all for comfort or else I’m a pretty miserable person to be around). With that being said, I’ve tried to embrace more pants and jeans into my life. However, I have a much easier time finding dresses and skirts that are flattering than I do pants and jeans, so it’s always a bit of a task to find something that fits just right. These jeans from Zara fit me perfectly, just slightly graze my ankles and I didn’t even have to get them hemmed! I love the embroidered detail on the side and have a lineup of outfits I’m already planning on wearing with them.

Style For Your City

As you guys must know by now, I’m a big fan of StyleMint. They make amazing tees and blouses that I end up wearing again and again. So, I was really excited when StyleMint asked me to be a part of their Style For Your City challenge-  A Facebook contest where readers can upload an outfit that shows how your style represents your city. I’ve teamed up with 9 other bloggers and we have all styled two new pieces from StyleMint’s April collection to represent our city. San Francisco is always challenging my style in more ways than one. There is amazing style all around this city and I’m constantly inspired by the people I see. I always want to be practical, while still wearing the things I love and the things I want to wear. The 9 other bloggers and I will be picking the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners! 1st Place gets 5 StyleMint credits, 2nd gets 2 StyleMint credits and 3rd place get 1 StyleMint credit. You can enter through the Facebook app and use the hashtag #styleforyourcity. I can’t wait to see everyones own personal style and how their city reflects that.

*Contest is open to US readers only, ages 18 & over.
