With summer in full effect, many of us are planning destination trips, little weekend getaways or stay-cations in our own city or towns. HauteLook recently asked me to curate a few sales for them and of course I jumped at the chance! I thought this would be the perfect time to put together a “Summer Checklist” of all the must-have items you need. I’ve selected a few of my favorite’s from each sale in the collage above, but you can check out all of the sales in my “Summer Checklist” below or on the HauteLook site here:
HauteLook is also giving away a $500 credit to one lucky Gal Meets Glam reader! To enter, head on over to the HauteLook.com, register, check out the “Summer Checklist” events and come back to leave a comment letting me know what you would buy with the credit. The winner will be announced Monday, July 14th.
Giveaway now closed.
A big thank you to HauteLook for sponsoring this post and including me on their site!
San Francisco, unlike many cities in California, is usually cooler in the summer months. We’ve been pretty lucky this year with warmer days reaching up to the low 80s, but most of the time there’s a constant cool chill in the air. On those days, I usually wear some version of this outfit. It’s filled with closet essentials that end up being some of the most-worn pieces. These Madewell leather pants have been a great year-round staple and they’re currently on sale. Another key piece is this Gap denim jacket. I’ve had it in my closet for years and it seems to just keep getting better with age. My bag on the other hand, is a new edition to my closet :) I stopped into the Mulberry store a few weeks ago to pick up a birthday present for my husband. I ended up getting him this gorgeous leather briefcase, but also walked out with this Alexa bag as well. I’ve had my eyes on this classic Mulberry style and couldn’t resist this creamy grey color. Love at first sight.
