Dress c/o Theory/ Jacket Armani Exchange (old, love this one)/ Heels Jimmy Choo/ Purse Stella McCartney/ Lipstick Bare Minerals
I recently collaborated with Theory to launch their spring collection and was excited to style one of my favorite pieces. I love this particular dress because the ikat print is really fun, but the black and white colors keep it chic and refined. Theory always makes great classic staples for your wardrobe with this one as no exception. I always find that the perfect date dress is one that is both effortless and put together (you never want to look like you are trying too hard!) I downplayed the dress by adding an old military style jacket that I’ve had for years and year, but I think a leather moto jacket would look awesome as well.
Coat Zara/ Dress Jill Stuart/ Tights Target/ Turban Club Monaco/ Purse Miu Miu/ Booties DVF (similar styles here and here)/ Necklace c/0 Sorrelli
I wore this gorgeous Jill Stuart dress I scored on sale from Gilt to her show this past weekend. It was hands-down my favorite show I’ve seen. I’ll be sharing some pictures I took during the show so you can see how gorgeous the collection is! My gal friend Dallas has been my partner in crime this NYFW. It’s always more fun to have a buddy with you for all of the events and shows :)
Dress Miu Miu (on major sale here)/ Coat Zara (similar less expensive version here)/ Bag c/o Rebecca Minkoff/ Cuff Tory Burch/ Heels YSL
Thomas and I took these pictures back in San Francisco before I left for New York. I would be freezing if I only wore one layer and had my legs exposed here. I can’t wait to share pictures from New York and from the different shows and events I have been going to. It’s winter here in New York and all the spring stuff is coming out in stores, but I want to buy the fall/winter collections that I see on the runway because I could actually wear them now! It’s funny how fashion works that way.
P.S. My friend Dallas and I were snapped by GQ leaving the Jill Stuart show and are on their site here!
