While I love a statement necklace or a wrist full of bling, dainty jewelry will always be my go to for day-to-day jewelry. My favorite pieces of jewelry (beside my wedding and engagement rings) are the few delicate necklaces and tiny studs that I’ve collected over the years. I was recently introduced to Page Sargisson jewelry and kept adding pieces to my “wish list” as I scrolled through her site- which ended up being pretty much everything. Her jewelry is stunning in an understand way- everything from her wedding collection (you gotta check out the perfect wedding band) to her intricate necklaces that are created with objects such as Indian woodblocks and letterpress printing blocks. She’s best known for her personalized calendar charms, but I fell in love with her pieces that had tiny little diamonds set into them.

I’ve always been drawn to pieces that make you want to look closer to see the details- there is something so precious and timeless amount it. While I have my fare share of inexpensive jewelry, I can’t wear it everyday because it irritates (my ears are especially sensitive) or turns my skin green. Not a cute look. One of my favorite things about Page’s line is that she only uses environmentally responsible precious metals in gold and silver. That brings me to the amazing giveaway that Page is offering one lucky Gal Meets Glam reader- A chance to win a $500 gift card to Page Sargisson Jewelry that can be used online!

Moto Jacket

Moto Jacket Club Monaco/ Leather Tee Zara (old, similar: investment/ steal)/ Jeans Old Navy/ Pumps Cole Haan/ Purse Stella McCartney/ Sunglasses Ray Ban/ Lipstick Bare Minerals “Fearless”

I’m actually looking forward to the rest of this week and this weekend- I have a few projects I’m working on that I’m excited to share with you guys as well as a short trip down south for a few days. While I love San Francisco, it’ll be nice to be able to go to beach and actually wear a swim suit and wear a dress without tights and not be freezing. It’s a pretty long drive, but Thomas and I always turn it into a fun little road trip with lots of snacks and playlists included. I recently got this botanical print moto jacket from Club Monaco and knew it would be the perfect piece to pair over light summer dresses. It’s just the right amount of edge for me and the cut is really flattering. I also love this graphite colored version with gold detailing!

Shades of Blush

Seven months ago today, I married my best friend. It was the best day of my life thus far. With wedding season soon approaching, it’s hard not to reminisce on our day and miss the planning process and excitement that comes with it. I still love looking at wedding blogs, talking about weddings and yes, even watching other people’s wedding videos. I wanted our wedding to be romantic, feminine and represent us both. We incorporated different shades of blush, lots of candles and a mix of garden roses and peonies to create that look. For the dress, I think finding something that represents your style, but still remains classic and timeless is the most important. All of these items from the Nordstrom Wedding Suite are inspired by our wedding- think spring garden party. I love the idea of wearing a tiered lace dress or something with embroidery!
