My favorite winter accessory is a scarf. I love the way they somehow complete an outfit and look effortlessly chic. I’m also drawn to really thick and cozy scarves (seen here and here) that you can bundle up in all day. Today, Calinteya is giving away one of their beautiful knit scarves to one lucky Gal Meets Glam reader. Their black and white infinity scarf is shown above, but you can check out their entire selection here (they have pretty much every color combination you can imagine!)
To enter: Visit Calinteya and leave me a comment letting me know which scarf you would like to win along with your email. The winner will be selected at random next Friday, Jan. 18th.

I know it’s only January, but it’s hard not to start looking/lusting after all the colorful resort and spring wear coming out. The good thing though, is that you can wear all (well…most) of these pieces now by adding winter elements like tights, layers, scarves and a big, warm coat. I guess this is how I justify buying spring pieces in the middle of winter ;)
On another note, here are some of my current favorite things around the web:
-Kate Spade Stationery: I have been looking high and low for the perfect 2013 planner. I think I found it!
- ShopBop’s sale: Up to 70% off! I’m eyeing this, this and this.
-I’m highly anticipating J. Crew’s spring collection and I’m slowly seeing them trickle in…like here & here.
- The perfect trench coat (wear now & later)
- Clover Canyon’s Pre-Fall 13. Order now (pay only half until June) on Moda Operandi.
- I need to try out this recipe stat!

I was honored to be asked by Sole Society to be one of their Fashion Insiders, where I got the chance to curate a shoe collection. The shoes I chose were based around my style, which I define as “timeless, feminine & chic”. Sole Society always has an amazing selection of shoes that are both affordable (starting at $49.95) and fashionable.
Sole Society is also offering Gal Meets Glam readers $20 off their first purchase with code: GMEETSG20
