A few things

Happy Weekend! A few things currently making my weekend (aside from being really sick):

1) Well, my birthday is tomorrow!

2) A painting and handmade card designed and painted by my very talented older sister, Lauren, for my birthday. She has an Etsy site over here and is currently working on a “Gal Meets Glam” series based around the painting above. She also does commissioned work.

3) The sun is out and shining and it will be above 70 degrees all weekend, which means bringing out my favorite pair of embellished Caroline Cree sandals.  I’m a happy girl!

Top Sandro, Blazer Helmut Lang, Jeans c/o James Jeans, Booties DVF, Clutch Forever 21, Bracelet c/o Sorrelli

Like I mentioned before in this post, I love James Jeans. The fit, the quality, everything is just right. I’m borderline obsessed with this pair, the Twiggy in Cinnamon Coated, because they have a cool texture to them that makes them look and feel almost like leather. I’ve worn this pair on numerous occasions, also pairing them with an oversized knit sweater. I’m also really drawn to this cinnamon color. It’s really unique and somehow goes with almost anything!

You can check out James Jean’s newest arrivals here and receive 25% off your purchase with the code: JJ007 (Offer is valid until 11/30/12)

Playing Dress Up

Outfit 1: Top, Skirt, Bag (all borrowed from Chloe Rose), Heels

Outfit 2: Top, Jacket, Jeans, Booties (all borrow from Chloe Rose)

Outfit 3: Top, Jeans, Loafers (all borrowed from Chloe Rose)

On Tuesday I headed over to my favorite local boutique, Chloe Rose, for some fun dress up and a photo shoot with Ashley Batz. I always fall in love with everything Marissa (the owner) picks out. She has such an eye for feminine pieces that are unique and full of detail. Did you check out the sleeves on that polka dot top? Love!
