Here are a few snapshots from the past few days in Kauai. We’ve been relaxing and soaking in the amazing beaches and pool that our hotel has. We really didn’t want to overpack this trip with activities but really take time to sit back and finish a few books. I am excited to head out on a hike tomorrow and see some waterfalls and explore other parts of the island!

Thomas and I arrived to Kauai on Saturday afternoon and have been on cloud 9 ever since. We’re staying at the St. Regis Princeville Resort, which is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. Everything is so picturesque and unbelievably beautiful, rainbows and butterflies included. Kauai has officially stolen my heart and I can’t wait to explore more of the island this week. Sunday night, we headed to Postcards Cafe for dinner (wearing this outfit) and it was just as delicious as everyone has said! They have a few vegan/gluten free options, which can usually be tricky to find while on vacation. If you’ve ever been to Kauai, we would love any recommendations of things to do/where to eat/what to see!
We’re off to Kauai this morning in celebration of our one year wedding anniversary (August 4th) and thought it was the perfect time to share the photos we took with our friend and talented photographer, Ryan Ray. We shot our engagement photos with Ryan and knew we wanted to do something again for our anniversary since he was going to be in California. I love the simplicity of these pictures and really feel like Ryan captured our personalities and love for each other. I will forever cherish these images and I know one day Thomas and I will look back at them and remember our incredible first year of marriage. We had so many new (exciting and scary) changes, but we had each other to lean on the whole time. I couldn’t image sharing my life with anyone more amazing.
