Frills

Dress Miu Miu (on major sale here)/ Coat Zara (similar less expensive version here)/ Bag c/o Rebecca Minkoff/ Cuff Tory Burch/ Heels YSL

Thomas and I took these pictures back in San Francisco before I left for New York. I would be freezing if I only wore one layer and had my legs exposed here. I can’t wait to share pictures from New York and from the different shows and events I have been going to. It’s winter here in New York and all the spring stuff is coming out in stores, but I want to buy the fall/winter collections that I see on the runway because I could actually wear them now! It’s funny how fashion works that way.

P.S. My friend Dallas and I were snapped by GQ leaving the Jill Stuart show and are on their site here!

Add a bold pink or red lip with winged eyeliner. I used this pink lipstick in “ambition” with this gloss in “hey baby” and this red lipstick in “rouge” with this gloss in “hot mama”.

Try a neutral smokey eye with a nude lip color. I used this eyeshadow palette and this lip gloss in “trail blazer”.

Since most people will be heading out right after work and don’t have hours to spend getting ready, I chose two quick ways to vamp up your everyday makeup for your Valentine’s Day plans. The first is a sweet look with winged eyeliner in black added to the top lid and a bold pink or red lip color. The second look is more sexy, with a neutral color smokey eye, bronzer and a nude lip gloss. Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to do something a little different with your makeup and glam up a bit. Whether you are heading out with your girlfriends or have a romantic date with your guy, either of these looks would work!

If you’re also still wondering what to wear for Valentine’s Day, Shopbop is currently having a sale with tons of great date dresses.  A few of my favorite’s from the sale are this, this, this, this and this!

Thomas and I always love getting up early on the weekend and either hitting up the farmers market or going to brunch. We ventured not too far this past weekend and went to one of our favorite spots, Rose’s Cafe on Union St. I wore these pajama-like pants by Joie that are super comfy while still being stylish- Perfect for a relaxed look on the weekends. Of course I brought them to New York with me and will also be dressing them up this week!
