I would definitely consider myself a bag lover- I just have such a soft spot for a beautiful new purse. Three of my favorites for summer are the cross-body bag, the backpack and the classic satchel. I use my cross-body bags most often since they’re best for getting around the city, carrying grocery bags, etc. but the satchel will always be my number one. I still have yet to buy a backpack, but this one or this one are at the top of my list.

I wore this Calypso jacket a lot throughout our trip to Dallas and Cabo. I snagged it up right before we left and I’m so glad I did because it’s now sold out online (I found a similar version at ASOS here). One of my favorite moments from our trip was horseback riding on the beach at sunset. The RewardStyle team (who we went to Mexico with) gave everyone flower crowns right before we hopped on our horses and it made us all look like fairies! I know shorts are definitely not the most practical thing to wear, but I had no idea we would be horseback riding (it was a surprise) so it was either shorts or a dress… ;) It was a magical moment and something I’ll never forget.

One of our afternoons in Cabo was spent at the incredibly cool El Ganzo Hotel. They had the most amazing murals, paintings and details (I posted this one and this one on my instagram) all around the property. It was filled with color and creative touches and even had see-through hot tub by the gorgeous pool area! I wore this Dolce Vita romper that was so comfy and the perfect swimsuit coverup (I’m wearing this Mara Hoffman swimsuit underneath). I’m already missing those lazy days spent by the beach, napping in a hammock and eating endless amounts of chips and guac!
