A Moment For Yourself

I’m excited to announce that I’ve partnered up with Dove to join their ‘What Pampering Means To Me’ launch alongside their new Purely Pampering products. I’ve always admired the way Dove promotes not only their products, but the importance of loving and taking care of yourself. In order to live a happy life and have great relationships with others, you have to start with yourself. Dove asked me to share three words to describe my ultimate pampering experience and these immediately came to mind: relaxing, comforting and glamorous. Taking the time to do something for myself, even if it’s a bubble bath in the evening after work or fresh new manicure, it gives me a moment to focus on how I’m doing and what my needs are. I always feel pampered after I use my Dove Purely Pampering Pistachio Cream Body Wash and Beauty Bar. My skin feels nourished and the calming scent puts me in a tranquil state of mind, feeling relaxed and ready to take on the day.

What are your three words to describe your ultimate pampering experience?

This post is sponsored by Dove, a brand that I’ve always loved and look up to.

Ivory

Vince Sweater & Pants c/o, Free People Hat (old, similar here), Valentino Pumps, kate spade new york clutch (on sale), Katie Dean Rings, Miansai Cuff

Vince has been a favorite brand of mine for years, so of course I jumped at the chance to work with them on their Neighborhood campaign while they were in SF. You can check out the feature on their site here, showcasing a few of their pre-fall pieces (which are so good by the way) around some of the best spots in San Francisco.

I have so many favorite pieces from the pre-fall collection, but I love the simplicity of an all cream/ivory look. The pants are a little oversized, but so comfortable and easy to wear and I know I’ll be living in this cashmere sweater. You can shop more of my favorite Vince pieces here…

The Leather Jacket

Club Monaco Jacket (old, similar here and here), J.Crew Tank, Forever21 Jeans, Forever21 Pumps, Chanel Bag, NARS “Heatwave” Lipstick

This week’s looks have been full of my favorite closet staples, with today being my leather jacket. I bought it from Club Monaco around this time last year and I don’t know how I went that long without a good, black leather jacket. I’m constantly reaching for it to throw over everything- from a girly chiffon dress to boyfriend jeans and a tee. I thought I would share a few of my favorite leather jackets out on the market right now:

Under $200: This grey ASOS numberThis quilted option under $50, this Obey suede one and this textured biker one.

Splurge Worth: I love this Anine Bing quilted leather one, this IRO beauty, this contrasted Vince jacket and my current favorite, this Current/Elliott one.

On Sale: This Michael by Michael Kors jacket is a no-brainer, this Marc by Marc Jacobs option is a cool alternative to the typical black one (but still as versatile) and this gorgeous Vince option.
