Moab At Sunset

Sabine Dress, Joie Sandals (no longer available, similar here and here), Chloe Bag, Jane Pope Ring, Miansai Bangle

We stayed at the Red Cliffs Lodge while we were in Moab and the property was just gorgeous. With 360 degree views of the cliffs, we had a view every which way we looked. Thomas took some really awesome pictures one evening (I posted one on my insta here) and was able to even capture the stars. He continues to blow me away with his ever growing talent at photography and I’m really proud of him. He especially loves shooting landscape and animals, so he was in heaven in Moab. We shot this look right before we headed to dinner during the most beautiful golden hour right before sunset. I couldn’t resist this blue and white maxi dress from Piperlime (under $120) and I love how it stands out against the reds and browns of the setting.

Seeing Stars

Monrow Sweatshirt (also love this Equipment one), J.Crew Skirt (also love this white skirt and this one), Tod’s Loafers, Chanel Bag, Maison Michel Hat (similar here), Ray Ban Sunglasses

My style has become a lot more relaxed and casual over the past few months if you haven’t noticed. I don’t know what triggered the change, but I’m more often than not reaching for my flats and sneakers over my heels. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely love a beautiful pair of pumps, but it’s just not that practical for everyday (for me). My Tod’s are at the top of my list since they’re so comfortable and easy to pair with everything. I’m also fulling embracing the dress-up sweatshirt and love this Monrow star printed one (no longer available), but this floral one and this simple Rag & Bone one are great options as well.

In The Desert

Free People Dress (on sale), Sweet & Spark Vintage NecklaceChloe Bag, Dolce Vita Sandals (on sale), Ray Ban Sunglasses

We spent this past weekend in Moab and it was my first time to Utah. I knew it was going to be beautiful and so scenic, but it’s absolutely breathtaking in person. Driving to our hotel we were in awe of the huge red rocks and mountains all around us in every direction. On our first day, we explored the property around our hotel and headed to the pool for a dip to beat the hot weather. We had a lot of outdoor activities planned for the weekend (hiking in Arches National Park and Canyonlands, floating the Colorado River and more), but we also wanted some quiet time to take in the serene surroundings.

I brought a lot of breezy boho tops and dresses for the trip knowing I’d want something simple to slip into after our long days spent outside. I’m just in love with this Free People dress I bought on sale right before our trip. It’s so beautiful in person with its muted colors, cut-out back and gauzy fabric. I paired it with my favorite gladiator sandals (now on sale as well) and Chloe cross body bag that I usually bring with me on trips (it’s the perfect size and doesn’t take up too much room in my bag).
