Thomas and I teamed up with Lucky Magazine to show two of our favorite fall styles from Sperry Top-Sider. We’ve both always worn their classic boat shoes as they’re the perfect relaxed weekend shoe. One of our favorite things to do on a Sunday evening is walk over to Chrissy Field Beach and watch the sunset. With the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, it’s a view that can’t be beat. We usually bundle up with blankets, sweaters and scarves since it’s always pretty chilly thanks to the wind and fog. And on a usual Sunday afternoon, you can find us both wearing something very similar to the above. I’m wearing the Seacoast Sneakers and Thomas is wearing the Gold Cup Authentic Original Boat Shoe- both part of Sperry Top-Sider’s Fall Collection. I’m such a fan of these slip on sneakers (I have them in light blue as well!) and plan on taking them with me on our upcoming Europe trip since they’re perfect for a long day on your feet. Thomas also has worn his almost everyday and loves that they’re a dressier version of his classic boat shoes.
I could live in this grey tee and these ripped up denim shorts. They’re the first thing I reach for when we’re having a laid back day and I want a relaxed and easy look. No matter where we’re traveling to, I always include some version of this combo as back-up and it usually comes in handy. We’re back in SF from San Diego, but I’m currently packing simultaneously as I write this post and taking a flight out to NYC tonight. I love New York and I’m so excited to be heading back for fashion week + a little extended time in the city with Thomas.
Thomas and I spent the holiday weekend in San Diego visiting my best friends and soaking up the last bit of summer. We went bike riding, to the beach, had an amazing dinner at Herringbone, an all day pool bbq, a little shopping, multiple acai bowls and a yummy brunch at Cody’s in La Jolla. It was the perfect weekend. I was in sandals and jean shorts pretty much everyday, but slipped on this cute little mini from Piperlime with my go-to white button down for Labor Day brunch.
