It’s crazy to think how fast this year is already going by and the fact that Valentine’s Day is almost here. I, for one, have a weakness for cutsey things with lips and hearts, so I drool over everything this time of year. I’ve put together my wish list of last minute Valentine’s Day gifts for giving and receiving to my favorite people including a few more accessories from the adorable new kate spade new york collection. I remember seeing a few of the pieces at their preview last September and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them!

This is the first time my husband and I have been to New York together. We’ve extended our stay after fashion week for Valentine’s Day weekend and I’m giddy with excitement. We have so much we want to do in a short amount of time- go to the Met, check out a long list of vegan restaurants and touristy things like the Empire State Building. I know it sounds cliche and cheesy, but being in New York (with the snow and all) seems so romantic to me. I’ve teamed up with kate spade new york to style two very different looks, but both equally festive for love day. The first look is very feminine and classic and was inspired by this clutch and this coat. The second look is more bright and playful, with a simple LBD with colorful accessories. And yes, I braved the freezing cold for 10 seconds to snap a picture of the bow on the back of the dress. Dedication!
