BCBG Dress (on sale), Valentino Heels via TJ Maxx (similar here), Ann Taylor Clutch, Estée Lauder Nail Polish in “Smoked Chrome”, Estée Lauder Lip Lacquer in “Ruby Glow”
I haven’t been to a formal/black tie event- especially one that required a floor length dress- since college and scrambled to find something last minute for the Helpers House of Couture Gala this past weekend. Luckily, I had my sister in town and she suggested I try on this BCBG dress. It didn’t look like much on the hanger, but when I put it on, we both knew it was perfect. The draping falls in all the right places and the slit gave a glimpse of my new sparkly heels. I found these gorgeous Valentino sandals at T.J. Maxx and squealed with excitement! I had actually ordered these heels, but ended up returning them because I loved the Valentino pair more.
I hardly ever wear eyeshadow, but since I kept my look pretty simple, I decided to go a little more dramatic with my makeup. I used this palette and this lip lacquer to achieve my look.
This dress and this dress were also contenders, but in the end, I wanted something colorful. I actually forgot how much fun it was to dress up and am hoping I get another reason to with the upcoming holiday season. Here are a few of my other favorite looks…
Ted Baker Dress c/o, Ted Baker Collar c/o, Zara Pumps, Zara Clutch (old, similar here)
I had so much fun getting to host Ted Baker’s Fall Shopping Event in SF last week! I chose this gorgeous wool colorblock dress because of the full skirt and raspberry shade. I glammed it up with a few sparkly accessories! Ted Baker has a wonderful dress and skirt selection (my favorites were this and this). Not only was everyone drawn to these great pieces, but there was also a huge selection of bows- on bags, shoes, tops & gloves! I was in bow heaven taking pictures of everything all evening. Thank you to those who were able to stop by and a big thank you to Ted Baker for having me :)
Club Monaco Leather Jacket, Otte Tank, Otte Skirt, Joie Bag c/o (Get 20% off this weekend until the 7th!), Michael Kors Boots (from last season, this season), Madewell Necklace, Ray Ban Sunglasses, Target Tights, Bobbi Brown Lipgloss in “Pink Beige” , BaubleBar Earrings
Happy Friday! I’m looking forward to spending time with my sister in San Francisco this weekend (my first in weeks) and enjoying the beautiful weather we’ve been having. I’m so lucky to still be able to incorporate some of my summer items, like this Otte tank, with my favorite fall pieces. I wore these Michael Kors boots all last fall and winter and was so excited to bring them back out. They pair perfectly with my Joie bucket bag and leather jacket- a triple leather threat! Joie is currently having their Friends & Family Sale with 20% off until October 7th, so now is the perfect time to snag this bag.
