Strawberries

Theory Blazer (old, similar here and here), Equipment Blouse c/o Cusp, Rag & Bone Shorts, Balenciaga Bag, Dieppa Restrepo Loafers, Illesteva Sunglasses, NARS Heat Wave Lipstick

Last week was the first time I’ve worn shorts since our trip to Hawaii last October. (I think…) I pulled out these Rag & Bone shorts I’ve been craving to wear once the temperatures hit 70 degrees. There are only a limited amount of days you can really wear shorts in San Francisco, so I’m taking full advantage of it. With my darker tresses, I’m gravitating towards lots of white and lighter colors in general. I paired this playful Equipment blouse from Cusp with my favorite white blazer and distressed denim short for a laid back Friday look. Equipment makes the best blouses and I couldn’t pass up this adorable strawberry printed top that has me dreaming of spring.

You can shop my look and similar items here…

A big thank you to Cusp for sponsoring this post.

Since then, I’ve discovered many new favorites, especially since my dietary needs changed and I eat vegan/gf about 95% of the time. My favorite spots are always ones that have both delicious food (or drinks) and an atmosphere that makes you want to go back again and again. These are just my personal favorites, but if you have any to share, please do! I hope you enjoy!

Living Room Decor

Pottery Barn “Brooklyn” Couch in Washed/Linen Cotton in Ivory, West Elm Rug, Target Bench, Black & White Pillow, Leopard Pillow, Mint Julip Cups (used as vase), Crate & Barrel Tray (old, similar here), Serena & Lily Candlesticks, Serena & Lily Embellished Pillow

With the start of the new year, we decided to do a little living room update. I posted our inspiration board here and we’ve pretty much stuck to everything we had initially liked- which never happens. I’m usually so indecisive about things, which leads to months (even years) of waiting to figure out if it’s right. The first major purchase was our couch. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful hand-me-down couch from my husband’s parents for the first year, but it was time to pick our own. We loved the style of the Brooklyn Sofa from Pottery Barn and spent a few weeks going back and forth on the fabric before we ordered it. I couldn’t be happier with the results! We also updated our rug right away from this striped Dash & Albert to this West Elm chevron jute rug. While I loved the Dash & Albert one, our new one hides way more (yay for less vacuuming!) and is super durable.

Here are a few other living room decor pieces I’m loving…
