Leather & Lace

Rebecca Taylor Top, Lovers + Friends Pants (on sale), Gap Clutch, Louboutin Pumps

I’m always looking for alternative ways to dress up for events or parties that are different from my typical dress choice. These faux leather pants are fun because they’re not as edgy as a pair of classic black leather pants are, but they’re still so different from any other pair of white pants I have. Up close you can see that they’re actually a perforated fabric that looks really cool and the track style makes for an easy dressed up/laid back look.

Little White Dress

Cameo Dress (similar here and here), Cuyana Clutch c/o, Louboutin Pumps, Lisi Lerch Earrings c/o Design Darling, Bobbi Brown Lipgloss in “Petal”

I’m heading out of town this afternoon for a quick little getaway trip to Vegas with my best friends. We all live in different cities, so we try and plan small weekend trips every few months to catch up and have some girl time. I couldn’t be more excited, I miss them so much! I ordered this dress a few weeks back (it’s since sold out, but available in one last size here) for the intention of bringing it with me this weekend. I had it shortened to a more playful length and I love how it came out! I have a weakness for white dresses and love the open back and front ruffles on this one. I mixed it up with some different colored accessories (crazy over the new Cuyana Spring Collection) and my favorite Louboutin pumps.

Casual Saturdays

Isabel Marant Étoile Sweatshirt (also in pink), Gap Tee, Madewell Leather Pants, Stuart Weitzman Sandals c/o, Clare Vivier Clutch, Illesteva Sunglasses c/o The Dreslyn

This past weekend we headed back over to Bernal Heights so I could take Thomas to Cafe St. Jorge, one of my favorite new breakfast/brunch/lunch places. It’s nice to get out of our usual neighborhood spots and check out parts of the city that we don’t get to much. My weekend style is definitely more relaxed than what I wear during the week. It’s still pretty cool in the mornings, so mixing layers with a few spring pieces like these Stuart Weitzman sandals and a simple striped tee makes it easier to cool off later in the day. Every spring I always look for a great sandal to get my through the season- particularly one that’s versatile and a neutral color- so I was really excited when I saw these Stuart Weitzman “Greek” sandals. They’re the perfect cognac color and easy to throw on with a dress, shorts or jeans.

Stuart Weitzman teamed up with Kate Moss this season for their #MossAppeal campaign and I can’t get over how amazing she looks! I mean, how cool is she? I’ll just keep replaying until a little bit of it rubs off on me…

A big thank you to Stuart Weitzman for sponsoring this post.
