I’m back home from Dallas and what a weekend! To say I had a great time would be an understatement. I had an absolute blast staying at Molly and Sally’s place along with Amber and Jamie and hanging out with Liz, Hanna, Bradley, Alex, Gaby and Chassity. I spent my time on the plane ride to and from Dallas catching up on my favorite sites and adding more goods to my ever growing wish list. I’m really into playful prints in bright colors and lots of floral. I can’t get over this gorgeous Anthropologie peplum top and also the skirt version (they look great paired together, too!). I also really love this Urban Outfitters floral dress, but this TopShop one is a great option as well. They both would be perfect for a wedding.

A great tee is always a wardrobe staple. I’m constantly reaching for the same two or three and realized that I needed to add a few more to change things up. They can make even the most “dressy” outfits look relaxed and effortless, which I love. I paired a classic white long sleeved t-shirt with white skinny jeans and broke it up with a floral scarf and stripe clutch. I love the simplicity of this outfit, but you could easily wear it to so many different occasions- brunch, work (in a casual environment), dinner, etc. Aside from the timeless white, a striped tee is by far my favorite. I own about five (in various stripe sizes) and still feel the need for more. One of my favorite ways of wearing a tee is by pairing it over a dress and recreating it into a shirt/skirt combo. I wore this dress for our engagement photos and love how adding the t-shirt makes it much more daytime appropriate.
What ways do you guys like to wear your tees?

I brought out this dress (last seen here) for St. Patrick’s Day, which was just the right amount of green for me. Putting a sweater or a blouse over a dress is a great way of remixing it back into your wardrobe in a different way. I do it all.the.time. And I’m still holding myself accountable to rework pieces I haven’t worn in a while back into my wardrobe. Now let’s just hope the weather stays this nice so I can bring out more of my spring dresses. On a side note, we can never leave Hayes Valley without a box of macaroons from Miette (hence, the pink box in my hand).
