Plaid + Leather

J.Crew Shirt (Get 30% off with code: HOLIDAY), TopShop Skirt, Anthropologie Booties, Anthropologie Hat, Love Cuff, Sarah Chloe Bangle, Fendi Bag, Ray Ban Sunglasses

Can you believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow?! I’m planning on wearing something similar to this look tomorrow- or at least something with plaid. I’m going to be spending today pre-baking some of our dishes we’re making and possibly getting a head start on some Christmas shopping (so many pre-black friday sales already!) We’ll be heading off tomorrow to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and I couldn’t be more excited. Nothing is better than spending some downtime with your loved ones + delicious food.  Safe travels to those of you traveling today!

P.S. J.Crew is currently having 30% off your entire order (How cute is this mini-bows sweatshirt and these glitter heeled pumps?!) & Madewell is offering 25% off your entire order!

Napa in November

Three Floor Coat, Heidi Merrick Top, Big Star JeansAnthropologie Booties, Ray Ban Sunglasses, Bare Minerals Moxie in “Game Changer”

My husband and I were in Napa last weekend for a brief trip and I must say, it sure is beautiful this time of year. Not that it’s not always gorgeous, but the fall colors and falling leaves make it extra special. On this particular morning, we woke up early and spent two hours walking around downtown and through the quaint neighborhoods before everyone was up. Napa is one of my absolute favorite places in the world and I’m hoping to make it back over there soon!

Embellished Bobby Pins (on sale!)

I’m always suckered into buying the sparkly, bejeweled accessories that are always strategically placed next to checkout lines. I don’t think I’ve ever shopped in an Anthropologie where I didn’t end up buying some bits and bobs. And while I have enough of these little accessories to start a store of my own, I rarely actually wear them. So this time I was determined to find creative ways to incorporate them into my everyday hairstyles. The best part is that these specific ones work on thick hair too, which is usually the problem for me. Here are some of my favorite embellished bobby pins (also would be a great DIY) so you can re-create some of these looks…or come up with your own style!
