My summer wish list is quickly adding up and these are just a few of my favorite pieces (all under $100!) I’ve been feeling inspired to mix more prints and incorporate a beach-y feel even when the weather isn’t too cheerful over here in SF. These pants or this crisp white blazer are pieces that can be worn rain or shine, while this top/skirt combo and this checkered dress are perfect for a warm summer day.

J.Crew Shirt (old, similar here), Madewell Skirt, kate spade new york bag c/o, Prada Wedges (old, similar here and here), Bobbi Brown Lipgloss in “Petal”

Last weekend, the sun was out and my husband came back from playing golf and suggested we head to the park for a picnic. I was initially planning on lounging around the house all day in a simple cotton dress, but I never pass up a picnic in the park on a beautiful day. I quickly changed into this gingham on gingham combo before throwing a few things into our picnic basket and heading out to our favorite spot, Lafayette Park. It looks like we’re stuck with rain all this weekend, so here’s to a cozy weekend spent inside!

Winter Cape

Fidelity Sportswear CapeOtte SweaterMadewell Jeans, Cuyana Scarf c/o, Ann Taylor Boots c/o, Saint Laurent Bag, Echo Gloves (similar here), Ray Ban Aviators

I’m currently in the process of packing for our holiday trip and promised myself that I would be more strategic this year. I’m planning on bringing a few different combinations of pretty much the same thing- jeans, plaid shirts, a few knit sweaters and this cape. It’s great for outdoor activities since it’s really durable, but still looks cute and chic for evening dinners. It’s always a win when you can pack light and make the most out of a few things!

Here are a few other capes (in a variety of price points) that I love…
