It was raining when we first arrived in Paris, which I was told is a sign of good luck, so I went with it and didn’t let it spoil my excitement. And as luck would have it, a few hours later the weather cleared up and the sun came out, so we decided to head to the flower shop down the road for some fresh roses. We rented an apartment for the week in Parc Monceau, which was so nice because we actually felt like we lived there as opposed to the typical hotel experience. We took the long, leisurely way back to our place through the park and cute cafes to check out our neighborhood for the next few days. Paris has so many incredible parks and gardens, but this one was filled with local families and children playing on the carousel and miniature ponies (yes, it had miniature ponies!). We of course had to shoot along the way, but we took some time to ourselves to sit, relax and take it all in.
