The holidays are my favorite time to switch up my makeup routine. Since I usually like to keep my beauty look natural and simple, this season is the perfect excuse to bring out a bit of sparkle or a rich hue. Even though I do want my makeup to look a little more glam this time of year, I don’t want to add too much extra work. I’ve put together two beauty looks that add just a few steps (and minutes) to my routine but definitely step it up a notch.

I start with my regular base of BareMinerals Original Foundation & Stroke of Light. Next, I’ll add just a tiny bit of liner along my top lash line and half way along my bottom lash line with the Gorgeous Eye Pencil in “Coco”. After that, I’ll apply a small amount of Belmacz Stardust Eyeshadow in “Copper” onto my eyelid with my finger. This is a gorgeous orange-gold shade that has just the right amount of shimmer.

Next, I’ll apply two coats of one of my favorite mascaras, Doucce Punk Volumizer.

Lastly, I’ll top off the look with a neutral lip color like this Gorgeous Liquidlips in “Allure” that adds a slight amount of color, while still keeping the beauty look more day-time appropriate.

The second beauty look has more of a smokey eye and bold lip, but still uses the eyeshadow and eyeliner from the first look. I’ll apply the darkest shade from Laura Geller’s Wearable Baked Eyeshadow Palette and apply it to the crease of my eyelid, on top of the Belmacz Stardust Eyeshadow in “Copper”. I’ll then add a slightly lighter shade to the inner corner of my eyes to brighten them up.

Next, I’ll dust a small amount of Laura Geller’s Baked Color & Contour palette to the apples of my cheeks for a soft glow.

Lastly, I’ll finish off with Laura Geller’s Love Me Dew Lip Crayon in “Cranberry Glaze” on my lips for a festive pop of color.
