Wear To Work

Outfit Details:

Express Blazer, Sweater & Pants c/o, Brian Atwood Pumps, Celine Bag

I’ve always been a fan of a wide leg pant. I think they’re ultra sleek and depending on the fabric, can be worn year round. I have a cream pair of wide leg trousers that I’ll wear with a chunky knit sweater in the winter and silky cami in the summer. They’re also always perfect for work but sexy enough for date night and an all around great pant to have. If I’m going to wear pants, you better believe you’ll find me in a wide leg. And so, I’ve partnered with Express to find possibly the most gorgeous, and budget friendly, pair for fall.

Express is really knocking it out of the park with their fall pieces. I didn’t even have to try these pants on to know that they were coming home with me. I could just tell that they were going to fit perfectly and lay in all the right places. Plus, the chevron print and thicker fabric are gorgeous for the season in a very understated way. You could definitely dress these up for work with a crisp white button down or pair a thin turtleneck sweater under a blazer like I did here. Either way, you’ll look professional and chic all at once.

And if you’re not a fan of the wide leg pant, Express has some other, slimmer styles that will definitely get your attention. This Boot Editor Pant in saddle brown is my personal favorite followed by this Columnist Pant in a dotted tweed. I love a richer texture for fall like tweed or wool in shades of browns, grey and deep blues, especially when paired with something a little more delicate on top, like a silk blouse.
