There’s just something so cheerful about the color yellow and I’ve been adding pops of it throughout my spring wardrobe with these espadrilles (seen here and here). So when I spotted this yellow Zara top in one of my favorite bell-sleeved styles for under $50, I knew it had to be mine. I pulled it out the week before last when my friend Carter (who took these images) was here and we headed downtown to shoot, followed by a delicious lunch at Xiao Bao Biscuit (one of the places we also included on our new Charleston Guide).

As far as tops go, I’ve been loving anything with big ruffles, statement sleeves or both combined, with bell-sleeved tops being the one that I’ve consistently gravitated to. I actually did a GMG Now post back at the end of January rounding up my favorite bell sleeved tops here. If you’re looking for a few more recommendations of ones under $100, this one, this one and this one will satisfy your statement sleeve craving.

I had pre-ordered these palm Stubbs & Wootton loafers back last early fall when we first moved to Charleston as a celebratory present to myself and they finally arrived a few weeks ago. I’m in love! I’m actually heading to Palm Beach this Sunday with my friend Carly and I’m excited to check out the store on Worth Ave. I know it’s going to be a dangerous zone for both Carly & me!
