The Camel Coat Guide

I’ve always said that my one core item for a fall/winter wardrobe is a camel coat. At the end of the day, a great neutral basic will always stand the test of time. Like shoes and bags, a quality coat will last for years and should be worn and paired with all different pieces from your closet. That’s why I usually stick to more neutral colors for my outerwear- it’s a safer bet that I’ll wear it more often if I know it’s easier to pair with the pieces I own. Over the years I’ve purchased a few camel coats, all uniquely different in their styles, but similar in their versatility. Each one has been worn over and over again, and while I’m not in the market for a new one, I wanted to compile a list of beautiful options in case you might be in search of one this season. I’ve broken down the list into four categories based on price: under $200, under $500, under $1000 and splurge (over $1000), so there’s hopefully something for everyone. It just goes to show that at every price point, there’s always a great option out there!
