After a few months of colder temps and darker hues, spring is always a refreshing change with its cheerful colors. I know it’s not officially spring yet (we’re still a month away) and most places are still cold, but Charleston is currently both blooming and warm! This is my favorite time of year, as the weather is perfect (before the heat and humidity start to trickle in right before summer) and all of the plants and flowers come back alive. I feel that way about my wardrobe, too. I’m slowly peeling off the layers of winter and out comes a fresh, colorful look.

Last year I bought a few of these wrap tops, like this one and this one along with the Zara one that I’m wearing. They pair so well with skirts (as well as jeans) since I can make them more fitted around the body and don’t have to tuck them in. I found a few similar options online all under $50 here, here, here and here. And I love this Boden skirt in a spring green color. Polka dots are everywhere this season! But I have to say, one of my favorite purchases for spring has been these J.McLaughlin heels. I originally got them for the models for our GMG Collection e-commerce shoot, but loved them so much that I ended up getting a pair for myself. They also come in this sandal version.
