And just like that, the end of the month is here! Between Dallas, Charleston, New York, Chicago and London, it seemed to fly by very quickly. But in the midst of all that, we settled into our house more over the past month and have launched two Gal Meets Glam dress collections. Aside from all of my dresses, my best buys of this month are mostly house related or travel items, which makes sense since we were doing a lot of both of those. Keep reading to see what made my list…

Aerin Dishes

I’ve loved just about everything in the Aerin x William Sonoma collab and couldn’t resist getting these blue and green printed plates to add to our ever growing place settings. Our renovated kitchen has lots of blue and white, and I love how the color palette pops with the touches of green.

Travel Steamer

A few weeks ago I posted about our favorite travel steamer on my IG stories- the one that Thomas is obsessed with. We never travel without our steamer and recently bought this new version that’s dual voltage for traveling after Rowenta discontinued one of our favorite smaller styles. I promise you, this will become your new favorite device, for both home and travel. We use it to steam all of our clothes.

Denim Jacket

I love a denim jacket and I’ve had the same Madewell one for years, which will always remain a closet staple. But I recently added this floral embroidered Rebecca Taylor one that has a fun twist on the classic style. As one who never passes up a floral print that I love, I knew that this jacket would quickly become a favorite to wear with all of my dresses.

Door Mat

I finally found a door mat that was simple enough without being boring for our front door. I ended up getting this one at Terrain, which is one of my favorite places for home and garden things. I also really like this herb printed one, but didn’t want to commit to such a busy design.

Toothbrush

Thomas loves finding new gadgets and tools for us to use, one of them being these new Quip toothbrushes, which he said were “all the rage” and needed to try. He ordered me the copper and got himself the silver. We both really love them, especially since they’re ideal for traveling. They’re electric and we both agree that the vibration is strong enough, but not too strong and they sent new replacement heads throughout the year.
