Best Buys of July

I can’t believe we’re already at the end of July! We spent most of this month at home, which was a much needed change. We hadn’t been home this long since last year. As a result, most of our best buys of July were home items. We’ve been back in our house for over three months now and we finally are feeling settled in. It’s a weird adjustment to get used to the fact that we’re not going to have to pack up and move again, but I’m not complaining in the least bit. It feels really really nice. To wrap up the end of this month, here are the items that were our “best buys” aka the most used and loved…

Flower Earrings

I’ve been a fan of Jennifer Behr’s jewelry and accessories for a while, but these oversized pink rose earrings are by far my favorite thing I purchased from the line. I wore them with the Augusta dress for our July GMG Collection shoot, along with the Julia dress I wore here.

Ratio Coffee

I love coffee. I tried to quit a while back, but I just enjoy it too much. Thomas and I were in search of a coffee maker and I just kept saying how I wanted something that was also aesthetically appealing because I wanted to keep it on the counter since I use it every day. Thomas remembered having seen this Ratio Coffee maker in person when he was in Oregon and looked up the brand. We both agreed it was exactly what we were looking for. They make automatic pour overs, resulting in the perfect cup of coffee in the morning. They come in a variety of styles so you can somewhat customize your own.

Lettuce Tea Set

I have a collection of vintage teacups that I’ve collected over the years, all mismatched and different. It’s one of my favorite things to search for when we’re going to antique or vintage stores. But when I saw this Dodie Thayer x Tory Burch white lettuce set, I knew I had to add it to my collection even though it’s not old. Now I find myself reaching for it in the middle of the day to make a cup of tea, sometimes just to enjoy using it!

Tennis Outfit

When Thomas and I got back home from France at the end of June, we wanted to get into some sort of physical activity outside. We love going to Orange Theory, but we wanted to switch it up in between. I’d been wanting to get back into tennis for a while and figured that there was no better time than now. I’m not very good, but I’m also not that bad, and have been slowly getting better the more we play. Luckily, I had bought some Tory Burch sport tennis pieces a while back and am finally using them consistently.

Water Glasses

I love Amanda Lindroth’s home accessories and recently added these seagrass wrapped glasses to our collection. The blue also just so happens to match the blue in our kitchen perfectly (Farrow & Ball’s Parma Gray). The seagrass wrap (which slides right off so they can go in the dishwasher), comes in handy in the middle of the summer.
