I’m always finding a reason to get dressed up, and at Villa Feltrinelli, there’s always one. The hotel itself is so glamorous and old school, you feel more out of place if you’re dressed down than up. And I came well prepared with a suitcase full of dresses. On our first night on the lake, we stayed in for dinner at the wonderful restaurant inside the villa. If you’re visiting Lake Garda, but not staying here, I highly recommend coming for dinner- it’s worth it for the views alone, but the food might be your favorite meal of the trip, too! We sat out on the serene water with cocktails and watched the sun set behind the Garda Mountains until it was time to go inside for dinner.

I’d been itching to finally pull out my Gal Meets Glam Penelope dress ever since it launched. This is one of my favorite dresses from the May Collection and one of the more dressier pieces that we’ve designed. It breathes a sweet sense of playfulness with the baby bud embroidery on the tulle and the blush grosgrain bow belt. The delicate scalloped trim is my favorite detail, too. While most of our dresses are focused around day, we do have quite a few styles that make the perfect occasion pieces, specifically for any upcoming weddings. Our Grace dress in rose gold is understated elegance, while our Alice dress in nude/blush has more of a flirty, feminine vibe. In our most recent June Collection, we released our Ethel dress, which is a beautiful combination of vintage romance and our Jacqueline dress that has a spicy flair that makes me want to dance!

And while the wedding weekend on the lake went by way too fast, we made memories that we’ll cherish for a lifetime!
