Most of the evenings in Spain we spent at our hotel just outside Seville (which I posted about here), sipping sangria or mojitos at the bar before we headed to an intimate dinner under a bougainvillea covered pergola. We really wanted to relax and since we did so many day activities, our evenings were more low key, especially since they didn’t start until 9:30. But on this night we decided to go into Seville for dinner- cocktails and tapas first, then a proper meal. We headed into town a little early so we could walk around and enjoy the city.

I pretty much live in Gal Meets Glam most of the time, but I have some designers and brands that I also love so much. Gul Hurgel is one of those. This Turkish brand makes beautiful dresses, often linen, that are a bit over the top in the most wonderful way. I couldn’t resist this lemon print one, that’s now sold out, but available now in this blue version (that’s on sale). Quite a few of her dresses are now on sale, like this one that I also have, this yellow one, this one that I’ve had my eye on and this red floral one.

First up on our list was El Rinconcillo, Seville’s oldest tapas bar, dating back to 1670. We saw this spot on all of the ‘must-eat’ lists of Seville, so we decided it must be worth checking out. We originally had planned on doing dinner here, but once we arrived we knew that was never going to happen. For dinner, you need a reservation, and this place is packed and booked solid. Luckily, the bar is first come first serve and the place is quite large, with people coming and going frequently, so after a short wait, we were able to snag a spot and order some drinks and food. We loved the atmosphere and history in this place, you can really feel it when you’re in there! And the sangria!

After a drink or two and some yummy tapas at El Rinconcillo, we headed out to find dinner. Even though we didn’t have plans, which usually kind of stresses me out because I hate having a bad meal on a trip, we loved just walking around the streets of Seville at night. They’re buzzing with people, happily clinking their drinks and nibbling on food, music coming from almost every corner. We winded up at Los Corales, an attractive looking restaurant that had lots of seafood on the menu that drew us in. For not having plans ahead, we were pleasantly surprised with this last minute find while walking around.
