When we were in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, we spent one chilly morning and early afternoon exploring the quaint coastal town on bicycle. The refreshing aromas of sea air filled our lungs as we cruised through town, admiring the houses and views of the various coves, the bay, and the ocean. As we typically do when we travel, we played a game of “which house would you pick?” as we rode, and with so many magnificent homes along the way, I changed my answer so many times! Our bicycle ride led us to Napatree Point Conservation Area, where we hopped off our bicycles, pretend “locked” them to a pole, and then went for a walk along the beach and dunes. It was a perfectly carefree start to our day. We could have easily spent the whole day out and about, but our grumbling bellies reminded us that we had skipped breakfast, so we headed back to our hotel for lunch outside on the veranda.
